Dr. Reno Pontarollo

Dr. Pontarollo joins the Eyam team to continue a long and successful career in the biotechnology field.  Most recently, Reno spent 13 years with Genome Prairie as their Chief Scientific Offer and Chief Executive Officer responsible for the overall corporate strategy and vision of the organization.  He has a successful track record in industry and government relations, international partnerships, and developing large-scale applied research and development and commercialization projects.

Prior to joining Genome Prairie, Dr. Pontarollo held positions at Pyxis Genomics and the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO) in Saskatoon, and the Defense Research Establishment Suffield near Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Dr. Pontarollo received his PhD from the University of Saskatchewan and has expertise in genomics, molecular biology, vaccine development and immunology.
